What is MyTipMe?
MyTipMe is a voluntary tipping platform where fans can support their favorite creators with one-time tips. 100% of the tip amount goes to the creator.
How does tipping work?
Fans visit a creator’s public profile, click “Tip Me,” select an amount, and checkout securely. A 20% platform service fee is added at checkout; creators receive 100% of the tip amount.
Do I need an account to tip?
No. Fans can tip instantly without signing up. All payments are processed securely by Stripe or supported providers.
Is tipping peer-to-peer?
No, all tips must be in exchange for a good or service that has been provided.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept major credit/debit cards and local payment methods where available. All transactions are processed in USD via secure third-party providers.
Are tips refundable?
No. All tips are final and non-refundable. Tips are voluntary gestures of support—not payments for goods, services, or content.
How are chargebacks handled?
Disputes and chargebacks are handled by Stripe via Stripe’s dispute/chargeback process. MyTipMe may submit evidence through Stripe on behalf of creators, but final decisions are made by Stripe/card networks and issuing banks. If a dispute is upheld, the amount may be deducted from the creator’s payouts. Repeated or abusive chargebacks may result in suspension or ban.
When do creators receive payouts?
First payout is within 14 days of the first tip (fraud checks apply). After that, payouts are processed within 3 business days.
What payout methods are supported?
Common options: verified bank accounts or e-wallets. USD-only. KYC/AML verification via Stripe is required.
What currency is used?
All tips and payouts are processed in USD. Your provider may impose conversion fees.
Can creators offer content in exchange for tips?
No. MyTipMe is strictly voluntary tipping. Offering goods, services, or rewards will result in permanent account removal.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can delete your account anytime from your dashboard. Deletion is permanent and cancels pending payouts.
Can I download my data?
Yes. You can request your personal data from your dashboard before deletion.
